Tuesday, back to work and 2 new things for Liam.

A sad day for Liam, his Dad wasn't home...and he cried all day. Just joking but Meg said she had a busy day with him. Meg started him on cloth diapers today. We wanted to start before but just had too much going on so today was a new thing for us. It seems to work just as well and he seems more comfortable. Also we started Liam on his 'crawling exercises', just for 25 seconds though to start. We just put him on the yoga mat on his chest and let him try to move forward. Monday - Last day of summer holidays.

On Monday we just packed up, took Liam outside for a bit of a walk around and then came back to Sapporo. He cried a lot on the way back in the car. Just too long for him we think as we took the local road. On the way up there we had taken the expressway. We got back and he got his dinner and bath. After that he slept from 8 until 2! Sunday.

Not much happened on Sunday. I got back to Bibai at about 9 and we mostly just relaxed. Ai went to the airport at about 1 and the rest of the day we just had a few people visit the house. Pics 1-4: 1. As usual, no idea what he is looking at. 2. Sleeping with his aunt. 3. Waving? 4. Moving around.

Saturday.

On Saturday morning I left Bibai and came back to Sapporo to go to the baseball game with my friends, then the final day of the beer gardens. That day would need a blog of it's own. Left the video camera with Meg and glad I did, would've ended up lost for sure. Up in Bibai they had a good day as well. Liam really has started eating more at once and then sleeping for longer periods. And he is down to only one or two bottles of milk a day, which we giving him to top up Meg's milk that he was getting. Lots of people stopped by the house and they had a busy time. Friday.

On Friday, we took Liam to the hospital for his one month check up. Hard to believe that it had already been one month. The doctor said that he was doing fine. He has grown 6.5 cm already and was up to 4300g. The doctor didn't have any concerns so that was nice to hear. We then headed up to Meg's parent's house in Bibai. It was Liam's first trip in the car for more than 10 minutes. He made it almost the whole way without crying. It was Meg's Grandma's first time meeting Liam as well. Thursday was a bit of a sad day as Tommy and Ang went home. It ws great to have them here for the past while. Great to share in all the excitement of Liam being born and nice to have all of their help as well. It was pretty quiet around the house at night. Another busy day.

Went out with Tommy and Ang for a while on Wednesday before coming home anf hanging out with Liam.
