Boxing Day.

Great couple of days over Christmas. Today was just a lot of relaxing and more turkey dinners. Meg went for a massage in the afternoon and then Meg's Aunt came over after that with a Christmas present for Liam. Ai's flight from Tokyo had to turn back because a snowstorm that hit us yesterday all day. Arriving anytime now. Christmas Day! Liam's first!

Had a great day. Up early and opened up the presents and started to get ready for the dinner and stuff. Took ages to cook the turkey. Our friend Miki came over around 6 or so and then we ate about 9....guess the oven that they quote on the back of the turkey for the time it takes to cook it is a bit more powerful than ours! Same thing every year, will have to start earlier next year. Tonnes of stuff left, nice for sandwiches etc. Liam had a good day and got lotsa presents. Pics 1-7: 1. Liam opening presents. 2. Thursday - Christmas Eve.

Good day getting some last minute stuff done and organizing for the dinner on Christmas night. Liam obviously has no idea what is going on but seems to enjoy us both being home all the time. Wednesday - First day of the winter holidays.

Quiet morning and then headed out to battle the crowds at Toys R Us. Stupid busy and after looking around realized that Liam is still probably too young for the stuff they sell anyway. Tuesday.

It was my last day of work for the year, will be great to hang out with Liam and Meg all the time.
Liam was good, really 'talks' a lot these days. Pic 1. Liam having a nap during the day. Had a few other pics, but nothing too exciting.

Monday.

Meg, Liam and Meg's Mum went to the hospital for Meg to get a check-up today. All good. Liam's first time on the subway. The original plan was to drive but a dump of snow overnight and brutal roads changed that plan. Pics 1-3: 1. What was I doing again? 2. I'm number one. 3. I didn't do anything.

Sunday.

Pretty busy day on Sunday. Went out to a town a bit away to go and see Meg's friend who is in the hospital there. Liam was good, just slept in the car. After that, he was just relaxing at home. Saturday - Liam, first time to roll over!

Great day on Saturday. Woke up to quite a bit of snow. Went out shopping for a bit in the afternoon, got the xmas tree done and stuff. Later on at night Liam rolled over for the first time after his bath. He has been trying for a couple weeks and finally made it. Posted a video below, me sounding like an idiot in the background. Friday.

The snow finally came on Friday. Meg had a friend over in the afternoon and her parents stopped over as they were in Sapporo. Liam was wide awake until ten, it was fun. He almost rolled over too, almost. Pics 1-3: 1. Hanging out after the bath. 2. Close-up. 3. Close-up funny face.

Thursday.

Nothing much going on. Was really cold outside and Meg stayed in with Liam. He was full of energy at night which was good to play with him. Pics 1-3: 1. Hanging out in the morning. 2. Still hanging out. 3. Eating his towel thing.

Wednesday.

Meg and Liam went to the ward office again today for the monthly weigh-in and check. Liam was fine. Up to 7755g. He only grew 1mm though since last month, 67.5cm. Pics 1-3: 1. Hiding under his little towel. 2. Not hiding anymore. 3. Getting right under the blanket as well.

Tuesday.

Had a bit of snow overnight and then it was -5 for most of the day so Meg and Liam stayed in. Liam Slept from 2 until 5:30 so he was full of energy when I got home from work. Monday.

Liam was good today. He went to the ward office for the next vaccine shot. Meg said he didn't cry at all. Not sure what they gave him on top of that, but he was in bed early tonight. Pics 1-2: 1. As usual using his cloth to cover his face. 2. Playing with his toy ball thingy.

Sunday.

Hockey ion the morning and then home for a couple teachers from school to stop over for lunch. At night Mark, Yuhka and Mrs. Stockbrocks came over for dinner. Busy weekend for sure. Pics 1-2: 1. Not looking too happy. 2. Trying to move around but can't figure out what is stopping him.

Saturday.

Saturday was a pretty busy day. Upstairs for a bit of a year end party after a run out to Costco to pick up the Xmas turkey in the morning. Liam had a good day but was bagged tired by the end of the day. Left the camera downstairs, so just the one decent shot. Pic 1. Liam, in disguise.

Thursday.

Pretty quiet day again with work etc. Meg took Liam out for a walk but was pretty cold so they didn't stay out too long. Liam was having a good time at night spitting on me and laughing about it. Pics 1-3: 1. Watching TV. 2. Hello. 3. Ready for his bath.
