May. 29th.

Went out for a long walk with Liam and Meg. We went to check out swimming lessons for Liam as well. It looks ok, but not sure if he will start it just yet. Pic 1: Liam and Meg.

May. 28th.

Meg and Liam went away out shopping with Megumi and Rion down to Sapporo. Had a good day. Liam was trying to stand up quite a bit at night. Pics 1-5: 1/2. May. 27th.

Meg's friends stopped over today. I got off work early so they were still here when I got home. Nice to see them again. May. 26th.

Not too much going on. Meg and Liam were just hanging out and playing for most of the day. Liam can stand by himself for 5 or 10 seconds now without falling. Pretty fun. Pics 1-3: 1. Big smile. 2. Close-up. 3. Clap clap clap.

May. 25th.

Well, turned 31 on Tuesday. Doesn't seem much different that 30 but is a lot different than 22 which was how old I was when I came to Japan. Jezuz. Anyway, went to work and then Meg's parents took me out for sushi with Liam and Meg. Meg made an ice cream cake. Liam was having fun. Meg's parents went back to Bibai and we played with Liam a bit then he crashed. We went to bed soon after...no wild party for turning 31, until the weekend bbq anyway. May. 24th.

Meg and Liam had plans to go out but the weather was brutal. Rainy and windy, so they just stayed in. We had fun at night playing with Liam. Pics 1-2: 1. Liam in the mirror. 2. Reaching for anything he can get.

May. 23rd.

Got a bunch of chores done in the morning and then headed out for a drive to Lake Shikotsu. Was nice and sunny in Sapporo but a bit cloudy over there. Pics 1-5: 1. Liam looking up at Meg. 2. May. 22nd.

Had a great day on Saturday. Up early and out the door to a photo thing for a magazine for Liam. We went to Hiraoka Park in the afternoon and had a walk around with a tonne of other people. Nice to sit on the grass as well. Then we went down to Ted and Emi's at night for a few hours. Busy day. Pics 1-5: 1. Liam getting his pics taken in the morning. 2. May. 21st.

Meg and Liam were out to visit Megumi and Rion. Had fun. Not much else going on. Had fun playing with Liam at night before he went to bed, getting strong these days. Pics 1-2: 1. Still eating his cup. 2. If looks could kill.

May. 20th.

Rain came back again so Meg and Liam stayed in. Really nothing going on. Pics 1-2: 1. Eating his cup. 2. Having a laugh.

May. 19th.

Pretty quiet day after a busy weekend. Liam was excited to get his new toy from the monthly toy club, or should I say excited to get the box. Meg took him for his 10 month check-up. He was 9465g and 75.9cm. Height is above avg and weight is right on avg. Pics 1-2: 1. Happy to see the box. 2. Playing with the box.

May. 18th.

Back to work but Meg and Liam obviously weren't. Another beauty of a day in Sapporo with temps reaching 23. Meg and Liam went to Hiraoka Park to hang out under the cherry and plum blossoms with Megumi and Rion. They had a great time and said it was packed. May. 17th.

I had today off as we worked last Saturday. We had lots of things to do today so got an early start. Meg had a couple of appointments, so Liam and I parked the car then walked around the University grounds a bit. When Meg was done the 3 of us went up to Odori Park to have lunch.
