Jan. 31st.

Up to a sunny day after yesterday's dark snowy skies. Went to see Meg's granny on the way back to Sapporo but she was sound asleep. Have to see her next time. Jan. 30th.

Had a solid day of snow from the morning until the night in Bibai. Liam getting lots of attention from the Bibai grandparents, nice little break for us. I went for a haircut in the late afternoon and we took Liam down with us. The lady who cuts my hair is Meg's Mum's friend. She came over after she shut her shop and gave Liam a trim. He was pretty good with it. A couple times he looked like he was going to stab himself on the scissors but he was fine. He looks better now and not like a girl. Pics 1-5: 1. Jan. 29th.

Off work at noon today. Headed out with Meg and Liam for a couple hours to get a few things that Liam needed, but ended up not finding what we wanted. He likes going out and about for sure. Loves having a good look around and 'talking' the whole time. Early update today, heading out to Bibai in a few minutes. Finally a weekend without hockey. (Not complaining about too much hockey though!) Next 4 weekends we have games or practices. Pics 1-2: 1. Playing in the morning, bit of a funny face. 2. His bear jacket on and ready to head out.

Jan. 28th.

Pretty decent bit of snow blew through so Meg and Liam didn't get up to much. Just playing. Liam was full of energy when I got home but got tired out pretty quick and crashed out. Pics 1-4: 1. Sleeping in the morning. 2. Playing in his chair with his toys. 3. Doing push-ups??? 4. In the afternoon.

Jan. 27th.

Pretty quiet day. Liam crying a lot. He showed us that he has caught on to the master game - cry if you want something. After his bath he started crying. Once we gave him a bath toy again he stopped. Jan. 26th.

Liam went to the hospital for his 2nd of 3 DPT vaccines today. Doc and nurses told Meg he was looking fine. Meg said he didn't cry or anything, not sure he knew what was going on though. Pics 1-3: 1. Morning. 2. Laying out on the blanket. 3. Lifting his chair, everything is a toy now.

Jan. 25th.

Meg had one of her friends, Tomoko, over today to hangout with her and Liam. Liam was pretty excited tonight for some reason. He seems like he wants to get moving but just forgets to lift himself up. Has all the leg and hands to do it. Hopefully he starts moving soon so we can get some different photos going on. Pics #1-5: 1. Playing in the morning. 2. Hanging out. 3. Liam and Tomoko. 4. Jan. 24th.

Meg's Mum and Dad came over around lunch for a bit today. Good to see them and Liam enjoyed himself. On skype back to Canada too, Liam recognizing his Canadian Gran and Grandad now. Pics 1-2: 1. Jan. 23rd.

Pretty nice day went out for the afternoon and then to the skin clinic for Liam. Dry face, but the cream they gave him has cleared it up already. Pics 1-3: 1. Lunchtime. 2. Eating. 3. Taste good Liam?

Jan. 22nd.

Not too much going on. Liam almost crawling we think. He is full of energy right now anyway. Pics 1-5: 1. Roling around. 2. Half cut? 3. Playing. 4. Eating pumpkin. 5. Watching football.

Jan. 21st.

Meg said Liam was really good today. They didn't get out at all though cause it was quite cold (-7) and blowing snow. Was +7 and raining yesterday! Liam was just playing around most of the afternoon. Had a bath and was in bed by 7:45, might be a new record. Pics 1-2: 1. Liam's 'I'm not doing anything wrong face.' 2. Jan. 20th.

Today Meg and Liam went to the ward office to get Liam's weight and length checked. He is up to 8075g and 70.1cm. Both numbers are fine. Liam was pretty tired and slept most of the afternoon, then was pretty moody at night. Just a couple decent pics today. Pics 1-2. 1. With me after his bath. 2. Jan. 19th.

Not much going on today. Was pretty warm so Meg said she took Liam for a walk and to the grocery store. He was sleeping most of the afternoon and playing after that. Played with me when I got home but crashed out right after his bath tonight. Pics 1-5: 1. Goofy face. 2. Eating his toy as he likes to do these days. Spend most of the time stopping him. 3. What? 4. Jan. 18th.

Liam didn't get much of any naps today Meg said and was pretty tired at night. Meg said she was pretty much holding him all day, and when he slept it was only for 10 minutes. Maybe just over tired from Sunday after going to sleep at 11pm. Meg couldn't get any pics through the day because Liam was being a baby (as he can sometimes) so here is some from at night. Jan. 17th.

Last day off before heading back to work and awoke to a massive dump of snow. Haven't been too many like this in the city for a while. Liam was laughing when he looked outside, not sure if that was because he could see his reflection in the window or because of the snow.
