Sun came back out!

Finally we got some sun again. It was a good day. Tommy and Ang went out to Otaru for the day and Meg, Liam + I just stayed home and hung out. Liam was pretty good but still doesn't sleep that much. Worried that he isn't getting enough to eat....

Walking?

On Wednesday the public health nurse came to the house in the morning. Liam got a glowing review! The bathing technique was good, and his body shape etc were fine. She had him doing some exercises, like 'walking' and pulling himself along the floor. I thought it was a bit fast at 2 weeks, but I guess she knows what she is doing.

Gaining weight.

Had been logging these at night but recently have been posting in the morning, so this is about Tuesday. Liam is back on the road to gaining weight. He gained quite a bit during the day. Not too much else happened but Liam was awake for most of the day so we just hung around and played with him. Meg's Mum and Dad came down again too. Pictures 1-10: 1. Thinking.... 2. 2 week hospital check-up.

Was the first time that we had to go back to the hospital with Liam since he and Meg came home. The nurses were a bit concerned about his weight and have told us to monitor it a bit more to make sure he is getting enough to eat. He was good today but was tired. He didn't enjoy his bath as much as usual. Still, it was a good day but a bit stressful at the same time.

Tommy K arrives!

Good day! Dad arrived from Canada, we were late to pick him up. No worries, he was only waiting for 5-10 minutes. A few friends stopped by today as well, they gave us a Bumbo seat. Pretty awesome! Nice claes from Kris/Amanda, Matty and Tommy. They do have fashion sense! Liam was crying in the afternoon a bit but again loved the bath. Just relaxed and hung out last night. God to have Tommy and Ang both here now.

Rain, Rain and more Rain

Just constant rain these days it seems like. Hot and humid in the house, and Liam seemed to feel it too. He was awake for what seemed like the whole day and would not settle no matter what was tried or who did what. Meg's Mum and Dad came down again and you can tell just how proud of their grandson they are. We can't get over how much Liam loves his bath everyday. He was screaming for a long while before he went in but again was quiet as soon as he got in.

Liam's first piece of mail.

As you can tell by the title it was a bit of a slow day today......man's hat blows of on high street....but it was still fun. Meg and I were a bit concerned about his weight but after looking a couple books over it seems like things are normal. Hospital check on Monday so we will see what happens. July 23rd, Liam's Mum and Dad's anniversary.

It has already been four years since we were all in Hawaii for our wedding. We had a great day today, looking at pics, and talking about that day. Of course, we were running around doing our usual things for Liam. He is really getting into his routine now and has been sleeping a lot. He loved his bath again today, does not cry at all when he is in the water. Tonight, Chef Kev with the help of his lovely Sous chef Angie, put together a lovely meal that featured chicken parmesean, handmade pumpkin/potato gnocchi, and a caesar salad. Killer dinner and then it was right back to baby work. Good day.
